Jury Selection Complete for Shooting Death of Detroit Man

Jury selection is now complete, and opening arguments are set for Monday in the shooting death of a Detroit man.

Ulysses Altland, 23, is accused of shooting Brent Washington, 40, of Detroit.

Altland was celebrating his birthday with friends at Wagner's Bar at 8th and Cascade Streets in Erie last March. An argument broke out, and Washington was shot and killed. Altland's own sister was also shot in the arm.

Family members say the police have the wrong man.
