Two different pedestrians were hit Friday evening, just minutes apart.
The first one happened at the intersection of West 12th and Plum Streets. Emergency crews say a man was walking across West 12th when a car, traveling east on the road, struck him.
Police say the man was walking across the street, even though he did not have the right away.
He had visible scratches and bruises at the scene and was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
The second happened just moments later in Millcreek, at the intersection of West Lake Road and Beachgrove Drive.
Crews say a 14-year-old was riding his bike when a vehicle hit his back tire. He complained of lower back pains and was taken to the hospital. Emergency crews say his injuries did not appear to be serious.
