Mercyhurst University will have another major figure for it's third annual Global Intelligence Forum. The session is held in July at the school's Dungarven, Ireland campus, but showcases the work done to train intelligence analysts here in Erie.
Past sessions have featured former Homeland Security Director Tom Ridge and former CIA Director General Michael Hayden. This year the keynote speaker will be former FBI Director Louis Freeh.
The Executive Director of the Mercyhurst Insitute for Intelligence Studies, Jim Breckenridge said, "So he brings to the discussion the perspective of working with Presidents and high level leaders on a host of global issues. So he can provide the perspective of this is what a leader wants from analysts."
Mercyhurst also announced the giant defense contractor, Lockheed-Martin will be helping to train analysts at the Dungarven campus.
