A man is in custody in connection with two recent bank robberies.
The first happened Thursday morning at the Fifth Third Bank on Secor. The second happened Monday afternoon at the Key Bank on Talmadge Road.
Authorities say in both instances a white male suspect handed a teller a note demanding money.
The FBI identified Richard Dean King as the suspect behind the robberies. Hewas located and arrested Monday afternoon.
King was interviewed about the crimes, and police say he confessed to committing the roberies.
He has been charged with two counts of robbery and is being held at Lucas County Jail.
