A scary morning for employees at the Golden Corral restaurant on upper Peach street.
A man walks in, orders everyone to the floor, then takes off with cash.
State police are on the lookout for a suspect, in a brazen hold up at a Summit township restaurant.
It happened around 8:30 a.m., at the Golden Corral restaurant along Peach street.
State police say the robber walked in, ordered everyone to the floor, and demanded money.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man who was wearing a mask, gloves and hoodie.
Investigators say he threatened employees with a black semi-automatic gun, but never fired any shot.
State police believe he took off into the woods behind the restaurant.
Police spent much of the morning, looking for their suspect, "We've been canvassing the area all day in that whole area. We've got a K9 and the helicopter from Franklin is in, trying to locate the suspect in that area." Said PSP Trooper Robert Brown.
Meantime, we spotted State police on a Interstate-90 exit, collecting evidence.
They found what appeared to be a shirt, that the suspect could have been wearing during the hold up.
"They found some clothing that we believe was being worn by the individual who was a suspect for the robbery at part of the area up there. So we were up there closing that area up checking and collecting evidence from that area." Said Trooper Brown.
State police were working to get surveillance video from the scene, to also help identify the suspect.
