The Henry County sheriff's office is investigating the discovery of two dead bodies. That discovery was made Monday near a small village called Pleasant Township.
Tuesday the bodies will be examined by the Lucas County Coroner's office.Deputies got a call about a suspicious vehicle around 10:30 Monday morning. That vehicle was parked on County Road 16A.
When deputies arrived they found two dead bodies inside. Agents from the Bureau Of Criminal Identification and Investigation were called in.
According to Sheriff Michael Bodenbender it appears to be a murder-suicide case.
Timothy Brown, 47, of Manatee County, Florida shot himself and his 10 year-old daughter, Alexandra Brown, also of Manatee County, Florida. The Sheriff says Brown is originally from Henry County and has family in the area. The girl's mother also resides in Florida.
The Sheriff says after speaking with authorities in Florida, he learned the couple was in a custody dispute.
