Toledo nursing home closing after abuse allegations

A Toledo nursing home is shuttering its doors after losing its Medicare and Medicaid provider agreements.

Officials with the company confirm Liberty Nursing Center of Toledo will close next month.

Authorities say employees allegedly failed to prevent and respond to abuse that reportedly occurred in August.

Residents must be out of the complex by February 7.
