Monclova woman sees bucket list wish come true

Posted: Updated:

Josie Langsdorf has a lot to live for.  She has two beautiful daughters, a loving husband, and more friends and family than you can count.

"It's taken a toll on everyone but she's fighting and that's the most important thing right now," says Josie's brother, Manuel Gonzales.

Josie is also living with terminal lung cancer, and she knows that time is running out.

"She knows her time is limited here and she wants to live it to the fullest," says her cousin Sylvia Arredon who flew in from Phoenix to see her Josie.

Tuesday night wasn't about the cancer or any treatments, it was about making a wish come true with the people that mean the most.  Nearly two weeks ago, her daughter and her friends started a Twitter campaign to get the attention of reality star, Scott Disick.  He's most famous for his appearances on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" with his wife Kourtney Kardashian.  Tuesday night he made a special trip from the West Coast, just to have a drink with Josie.

"We were watching the Kardashians and she said I would just love to take a shot with Scott," says family friend, "Tweeter" Hertzfeld.  "And we said let's tweet him and it just blew up. The community just came together, it was amazing."

"Even though it's actually happening, I still am in shock," says Josie with a smile. "I can't believe Scott Disick is in my house."

"She loves life and that makes it that much more special that he actually came to her instead of her having to go to him," says  Amy Covyew, a childhood friend of Josie's.

Meeting Scott Disick isn't the end of Josie's bucket list.  She also wants to meet Hilary Clinton and take her girls on a trip to the Mall of America.  Her life is inspiring others, and Josie says it's the little moments that mean the most to her now.

"Just waking up in the morning seeing the sun shining, hearing your kids laugh, it's the little things like that, that mean the most."
