A teen was
shot on Toledo's
east side Wednesday while walking along some railroad tracks.
The
15-year-old male was walking in the area of Dearborn and Kelsey, when he got
involved in a confrontation with two men.
The victim
was shot twice in the right leg, near the ankle.
His mother
flagged down a police crew in the Stickney and Manhattan area after she found out about the
shooting.
The victim
was taken to St. Charles,
and his injuries are considered non-life threatening
The two
suspects are not in custody, but police say they know the identity of at least
one of them. The victim says he knew one of the men, though not the person who
shot him.
