Salaries for mayor, council members to be reviewed

Tens of thousands of dollars paid out to city leaders every year will soon be under review. Every four years, a seven-member salary review commission looks over the salaries of Toledo's mayor and city council members.

Mayor Mike Bell currently makes just over $122,000 a year, down from $136,000 four years ago.

Council members make about $27,000.

The commission will make its recommendations by April 1, and any salary adjustments will be made by June.
