Police arrested a
suspect for allegedly robbing a hotel clerk at knifepoint. It happened just
after 11:00 Wednesday night at the Comfort Inn on Navarre near I-280.
Oregon police say the arrest was made just
minutes after the suspect fled the scene. Officials say Joshua Hodge went into
the Comfort Inn Hotel and threatened the clerk working at the front desk with a
knife.
Officials say Hodge cut
the clerk on the arm before he took off with cash.
Police arrived moments
later to find Hodge nearby. He's charged with felonious assault and aggravated
robbery.
Officials say additional
charges are pending.
As for the hotel clerk,
she was treated at a local hospital and is expected to be okay.
