The first wave of cold will push into the area by Sunday morning with temperatures in the low 20s. This cold wave is going to come with a lot of wind and that will drive the wind chill down to about 0 degrees by Sunday morning. The worst of the cold will push in for Monday through Wednesday. Lows are expected to fall below 5 degrees. The last time temperatures were below 6 degrees was on February 10, 2011. This streak of cold could also become the longest streak of sub freezing weather since February of 2011.
