Police: woman "set up" stepfather in Sandusky car wash shooting

SANDUSKY, Ohio -

Police have arrested three people in connection with a shooting at a Sandusky car wash. But they are still searching for the shooter.

The Sandusky Register reports that one of the suspects, Katie Wilson, told police the shooting was the result of a "set-up" and that she arranged a drug deal with the victim intending to rob him.

The victim was her 49-year-old stepfather Bartt Carruthers. He was shot three times at a car wash in the 500 block of Perkins Avenue on Wednesday. He is recovering at a Toledo hospital.
