Key evidence will stand in the case against an off duty state trooper accused of driving drunk and killing a man in a traffic accident last year. The two car accident which claimed the life of 21 year old Daryl Nunemaker, happened February 8, 2012 on Route 6, near Union City.
According to published reports, Judge Ernest Disantis says blood alcohol samples from the off duty trooper, Jeffrey D'Alessandro of Canonsburg, PA, as well as a statement in which he admitted to police that he had consumed four beers will be admissible.
The judge ruled that the statements were voluntary and the blood sample legally obtained. The case is expected to go to trial in march.
