Owens RN program accreditation could be restored this week

Toledo Blade story

Owens Community College's nursing program could earn accreditation after a review team comes to campus this week.

Our media partner The Toledo Blade reports that Owens lost it's accreditation for the registered nursing program back in 2009, after a review found the college was lacking a certain number of faculty with Masters degrees in nursing and the college was also lacking a way to track it's effectiveness of the RN program.
