The fact that Erie's latest snowstorm took place on the Dr. Martin Luther King holiday meant fewer cars on the road but more cars parked outside homes and buildings.
It's also likely to cost more because the storm is on a federal holiday.
Eighteen plows worked City streets Monday and most of those drivers had to be called in because they were scheduled off for the King holiday.
That means that the City will be paying overtime.
"The 3rd shift supervisor saw it starting to come down 3:30, quarter to four," Supervisor Pete Petriani told us.
"They salted but then it really started coming down so they called in the first shift."
We have no firm number on just how much the storm will cost City coffers but it shouldn't be too bad, considering that the City has stayed under budget with plowing and salting the past season and a half due to unseasonably mild weather.
