Dramatic assassination attempt caught on video

A would-be attacker rushed the stage during a speech by the leader of Bulgaria's ethnic Turkish Party.

Authorities say the man tried to shoot the official, but his gas pistol apparently misfired.

Security guards eventually wrestled the suspect to the ground and police arrested him. He was also reportedly carrying two knives.
