Did Beyonce lip-sync?

Most agreed that Beyonce's powerful rendition of The Star Spangled Banner was an incredible moment during the inaugural celebration. But reports are surfacing that Beyonce lip-synced to a backing track when she performed Monday.

The London Times is reporting that Beyonce lip-synced the song. The Times says they confirmed it with a spokesperson for the Marine Corps Band that Beyonce did lip-sync the song.

This isn't the first time someone has performed to a recorded track at an inauguration. In 2009 cellist Yo Yo Ma performed to a recorded track because it was the weather was too cold and windy for his instrument to sound correct.
