Suspect arraigned for hitting woman with car

A Toledo woman was arraigned Tuesday morning after police say she intentionally hit another woman with her car.

Kamecia Michael-Carter, 21, is charged with one count of felonious assault.

Police say she hit Brittany Reynolds with her car after they both left Upton Bar and Grill around 2:30 Monday morning.

Reynolds was taken to an area hospital in serious condition.

Carter's bond is set at $100,000.

    One woman is in the hospital after an early morning fire. The fire started at a duplex on Vance street. Investigators say the home might need to be demolished. When crews arrived on the scene flames were shooting from the roof. The cause is still under investigation.
