A legal setback for the Catholic Diocese of Erie.
It's lawsuit against the federal government, over the health care mandate has been dismissed. They claimed the President's new health care law is unconstitutional. On Wednesday, a federal judge dismissed those claims.
In a statement released Wednesday, Bishop Lawrence Persico said he was disappointed with the ruling. He went on to say, "I take comfort that the dismissal was "without prejudice," which means that if the government does not live up to these commitments within the frame it promised, we will be free to bring the matter back to the court."
