One person is without a place to stay Wednesday night after water damaged her apartment.
"I was sitting in my living room, on a phone conversation, at which time I heard what was a spigot-like sound coming from my kitchen, at which time I discovered very much water coming through the window and the roof," said Heather Manczka.
It happened around 6:15 PM in the Modern Tool Square Apartments on East 4th Street.
Manczka said she went to grab towels and buckets to clean the water in the kitchen, when she discovered another leak, coming through her bathroom.
There was also puddles of water in the hallway above her apartment.
Water for the entire building was shut off, and that's when crews discovered a leaky pipe was to blame for the damage.
Manczka said she's grateful for fire crews, helping her clean up.
