Fiery Crash Claims Life In Crawford County

A fiery three-car crash in Crawford county, claims a life.

It happened around 3:30 Thursday afternoon, at Route 6 and 19 at Brakeshoe road, in Woodcock township.

Three cars were involved.

State police say 53 year old Cindi Lou Mckissock of Cambridge Springs, skidded through a stop sign, slid into another car, and was then hit by another vehicle.

Mckissock's car then went up in flames.

She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma from the crash.

Saegertown volunteer fire department responded, and put out the fire.

The accident closed busy Route 19 for a while, while state police investigated and crews cleaned up the scene.
