A Pittsburgh judge has halted testimony in the political corruption trial of a suspended Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice after heavy snows moved into the City.
Before the break attorneys had a chance to present opening arguments in the case against Justice Joan Orie Melvin and her sister Janine Orie.
The two are charged with using the justice's staff and the state senate staff of another sister to campaign for office in both 2003 and 2009.
They face counts which include official oppression, theft of services and tampering with evidence.
After opening arguments only one witness testified; a representative from Yahoo talking about emails that will be entered as evidence later in the case.
Judge Lester Nauhuas will resume the trial on Monday.
