TOLEDO, Ohio -
The next wave of winter weather will arrive Sunday night into early Monday morning. A warm front will be pushing into the area this week. Ahead of the front, a band of precipitation will develop and push into northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan around 9pm Sunday. Precipitation will likely start off as a snow/sleet mix and then change over to freezing rain for most of the overnight period. Temperatures will warm above freezing and melt off the icy mix around daybreak on Monday. 1/10" of freezing rain is possible. This is not enough to cause widespread power outages, but it is enough to cause icy roadways by Monday morning.
