Human Trafficking Coalition holds awareness event

January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, and the Lucas County Human Trafficking Coalition held an event Saturday to bring awareness to the issue.

The coalition teamed up with Toledo Area Ministries and Second Chance to bring a showing of "Kidnapped Cousins" to Rave Cinema at Westfield Franklin Park Mall.

The film tells the story of two cousins from Toledo who were kidnapped while walking to Wendy's.
