Break-A-Thon Benefits Asbury Woods

Local martial arts students showing off their skills today, for a good cause.

Lund Martial Arts held their annual Break-A-Thon on Saturday.

Competitors were asked to raise at least $50, to break a board or concrete for the crowd.

All of the money will go to Asbury Woods. Competitors of all ages, took part in the event, and the youngest board breaker was four years old.

The martial arts school chose Asbury Woods this year, because of an upcoming garden project at the nature center.

Organizers are hoping to raise $10,000 with the event.
