
NORTH CANTON - The University of Findlay women's basketball team outlasted Walsh University as they claimed a 68-64 win over the Cavaliers in North Canton, Ohio.
The Oilers, who improved to 13-4 on the season with a 10-3 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), shot 46.6 percent (27-of-58) from the field and grabbed 17 offensive rebounds in the win. The second chance opportunities led to 20 points for the Oilers.
Senior forward Tai Dotson led the team with a career-high 20 points, making 10-of-11 shots from the floor.
Senior forward Kayla Brown added 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting while junior forward Kaleigh Kenny had a career-high 12 points and a season-high eight rebounds off the bench.
Walsh shot 41.1 percent (23-of-56) from the floor and received 20 points and nine boards from Maggie Berry in the game.
