Oilers Dive At Wayne State

DETROIT - The University of Findlay women's diving team competed in the Wayne State Diving Invitational in Detroit, Michigan, on Saturday, January 26.

Sophomore Ashleigh Weddington took seventh in the 1 M (11) with a score of 334.80. Weddington also finished ninth in both the 1 M (6) event (190.45) and the 3 M (11) event (349.95), as well as 10^th in the 3 M (6) with a score of 193.45.

Freshman Shanon Romano placed 10^th in the 1 M (11) (315.95) for Findlay. Romano took 11^th in both the 3 M (11) event and the 3 M (6) event with 329.00 and 181.90 points, respectively. Romano finished 13^th in the 1 M (6) with a score of 166.80.

The Oilers will return to action on Wednesday, February 6, for the first day of competition at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship in Canton, Ohio.
