Stamp price increases to 46 cents

It will now cost you 46 cents to mail a first-class letter.

Postcards have increased from 32 cents to 33 cents. A new global "forever" stamp that allows customers to mail letters anywhere in the world will cost $1.10.

With the U.S. Postal Service billions of dollars in the red, the increase will only make a small dent in their financial losses.
