MAUMEE, Ohio -
Mild air has melted our snow cover, and ice is now melting on rivers like the Maumee. River levels are rising. A round of heavy rain is expected on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, with around 1" of rain likely across most of the metro area, but 1" to 3" possible to the north and west of Toledo, in the northern part of the Maumee River Basin. There are concerns of river flooding as we move through the middle of the workweek.
Flood Watches have been issued for southeast Michigan, as well as northwest Ohio to the west of I-75.
