All lanes of US 20 reopen after fatal crash

All lanes of US 20 near County Road 128 in Sandusky Township are open, after a fatal early morning crash. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is still on scene.

Russell E. Lucas was the driver of a semi truck that collided with a 1999 Dodge Ram driven by Daniel Magers Jr. Shannon Mcgrew was the passenger in the front seat of the Dodge Ram.

Magers Jr. ran a stop sign, and the two vehicles collided at the intersection of US 20 and CR 128. Both Magers Jr. and Mcgrew were ejected from the vehicle upon impact. Magers was pronounced dead at the scene and Mcgrew was taken to Fremont Hospital, but was later flown by Life Flight to Toledo St. Vincent's Hospital.

Lucas did not sustain any injuries.
