A fire at the Toledo Refining Company on Woodville Road is out after first responders with the company and Oregon Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames.
The fire itself started around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday night.
A company spokesperson explains the fire was inside of a fluid catalytic cracker, which is described as a major gasoline producing unit.
Employees are still in the process of trying to figure out why it caught fire, but they were able to put it out within 25 minutes.
No one was hurt.
Health and safety personnel with Toledo Refining are monitoring the air quality in and around the refinery site.
So far, they have not detected any hazardous conditions and say there is no threat to the surrounding neighborhoods.
