Man Injured in Early Morning Shooting

A shooting early Friday morning on Erie's eastside sent one man to the hospital with two gun shot wounds.

It happened in the 2700 block of Van Buren Avenue. Police are still piecing together what happened. They are saying that one man was shot in the street around 4:00 a.m.

The victim was shot in the arm and stomach, and taken to the hospital.

Police say he's in his 30's but they are not releasing his name. He apparently is not cooperating with police.
