Mercyhurst University Hosts Annual Chili Cook-Off

Many people warmed up with a bowl of chili on Friday, at Mercyhurst's 7th Annual "Phil Up Your Bowl" chili cook-off.

The popular event is held to celebrate Groundhog's Day.  Staff and students cooked a variety of chili's ranging from traditional to unique.  A new flavor this year was peanut butter chili.  All of the proceeds will be donated to the United Way, the Second Harvest Food Bank, and the North East Food Pantry.  The event is organized by the Mercyhurst Campus Ministry and Human Resources.
