(Courtesy: Twitter)The story of a local woman battling terminal lung cancer continues to touch the community. Friday night her supporters rallied together to help make another wish come true for the Monclova Township mom, Josie Langsdorf.
"Whatever proceeds we raise for her is for her to use however she feels fit," says Megan Boze, who organized the fundraiser with her husband.
"They're excited to give to her and support her family through this rough time."
This isn't the first time friends and family have helped make her wish come true. Last month Josie got to meet Kardashian-star Scott Disick after loved ones organized a Twitter campaign to grab his attention.
"Our community is so tight knit, it's awesome," says Josie's friend Megan Newcomer.
"I don't want people to think I want something out of all of this, but it's exciting," says Josie. "I'm very happy and honored."
Josie's next wish is to take her girls to the Mall of America and visit St. Jude's Hospital for kids with cancer. Even with her own cancer recently spreading to her ribs, she keeps a positive and gracious attitude.
"All I can say is thank you. It really means a lot and I'm very touched and honored. It really means a lot to me, it warms my heart, it's very exciting."
