Even though it's the weekend, local high school students still did some learning.
Gannon University hosted "Go College- Erie", an educational event focused on math with an interactive twist.
High schoolers and their parents had fun with a life-size Cartesian plane, and a mathematical "Amazing Race," with clues hidden behind algebraic expressions.
Tutors were on hand to teach families about resources for math help, which is a subject where many students struggle.
The workshop was for students in the city of Erie, from Central, East and Strong Vincent.
