Super Bowl Sunday is the biggest unofficial holiday of the year. Lot of people are hitting the roads, heading to and from parties.
Law enforcement is stepping up their efforts to look out for impaired drivers and to handle the traffic.
More than 81 local law enforcement agencies around Ohio will conduct 1900 hours of enforcement and 1100 hours of what they call "saturation patrols."
Sgt. Shaun Robinson of The Ohio State Patrol said, "Plan ahead, enjoy the game, have a great time. Have a designated driver, have someone that isn't going to be drinking this evening or have a cab." He emphasized that impaired driving can lead to jail driving or injury and death.
The State Patrol also asks that everyone stay alert for impaired drivers and report any concerns to the police.
