SANDUSKY COUNTY, Ohio -
Police are searching for a 20-year-old mentally challenged woman who went missing Sunday afternoon in Sandusky County after going for a walk.
Cheyenne Giehl suffers from Down Syndrome, bipolar disorder and autism. According to a police report, Cheyenne had recently come to live with a friend after her mother was no longer able to care for her and had been experiencing anxiety issues in her new surroundings.
She left the house between 1:30 and 2 p.m on Sunday and did not return.
She was last seen wearing black books, charcoal colored jeans and a brown coat with a fur-trimmed hood. Cheyene is 5'4", 230 lbs with short brown hair and blue eyes.
She has medical problems that require regular medications. She has no known friends in the area.
