TOLEDO, Ohio -
As of noon this Monday, 1" to 2" of new snow has fallen across most of the area, with 2" to 3" of new snow already reported in many areas west of I-75. The snow will continue to fall through the middle of the afternoon. Snowfall totals will range from 2" to 4" across most of the area, by the end of the day. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for the entire region.
Before this snow started, Toledo had received 14.4" of snow, so far this winter.
The average to date is 22.2".
For perspective, last winter's snowfall total, from the late fall through February 3rd, was 11.4".
After adding today's snow, plus tomorrow's round of accumulating snow, we're quickly making up for lost ground, closing in on the average amount.
