MEQUON, WISC. – The women's hockey team (17-5-1, 12-5-1) swept Concordia University (4-15-3, 4-11-2) with a 2-0 shutout Saturday afternoon in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play.

Brittany Zeches stopped 19 shots in earning her nation-leading eighth shutout of the season.

Kelsey Kusch, the NCHA's leading scorer and this week's Player of the Week, notched her 17th goal of the season about five minutes into the second period that proved to be the game winner. Kaitlyn Ryan and Danielle Smith were awarded assists.

Exactly four minutes later, Courtney Millar would score her seventh of the season from Michelle Jones to round out the scoring.

Adrian outshot Concordia, 24-19.
