Governor Tom Corbett is just hours away from unveiling his 2013 budget.
But protests have already begun, including right here in Erie.
This afternoon, several dozen people braved the cold weather to voice their concerns outside of Governor Corbett's Erie office.
The group is calling on the governor to close tax loopholes for large corporations and to invest in long-term health care and other public services.
Those at the gathering criticized the cuts that were made in 2012. Specifically, to education.
"Our governor is privatizing everything, attacking education and teachers," said concerned citizen Cindy Purvis. "I mean, without teachers, and a good education, how can anyone expect to get a good job?"
Governor Corbett will begin delivering his budget address on Tuesday, around 11:30 a.m.
