The R-V and camping expo opens Thursday, February 7 at the Bayfront Convention Center. Several recreational vehicle dealers are setting up in the grand ballroom of the facility. Dozens of the latest models are fender to fender inside the complex. If you're in the market, it's a good time to comparison shop. This is not roughing it. Some of the R-V's and motor homes have multiple bedrooms, lofts and kitchens on the inside and out. They even have attached grills for cooking out.
"Luxury on wheels, that's what it is," said show promoter Katie Bool. "It really is amazing to see the luxurious motor homes that are represented at the R-V & Camping Expo. It's something new and different every year," said Bool. With so much variety in one place, dealers say it's a great way to see what is the best fit for your family.
There are also four wheelers and camping vehicles and new this year, a motorcycle pavilion.
The show opens Thursday at 2:00 PM and runs through Sunday at 5:00 PM.
