An Ann Arbor man is in the Monroe County Jail accused of meeting a 15-year-old boy online and taking him to a parking lot in Dundee in the middle of the night.
That's when a police officer spotted them. The suspect, Jody Gross, 33, was arraigned Friday morning. Police say he had been chatting with a Monroe County teen over the internet and had sexual intentions.
"The suspect came down from his Ann Arbor residence to meet the minor, which he did. At that point, they had gotten into the vehicle and they had drove over to this location, which is near the police office here," said Sgt. Brett Ansel of the Dundee Police Department.
Officers raided the suspect's home and confiscated his computer and cell phone. Jody Gross is being held on a charge of soliciting a minor.
