If you love the sounds of choral music you were in for a treat this weekend as Erie's Collegiate Academy High School hosted the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 2 Chorus Festival.
Over 200 students from 41 different schools in from across western PA were selected by audition to participate in four day festival. They rehearsed almost non-stop for three days under the direction of guest conductor Michael Schwartzkopf, Professor Emeritus from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Students who make the top chairs here in each section; soprano, alto, tenor and bass advance to regional chorus.
