The Erie Port Authority is expected to seek proposals next month for the planned McAllister Place development on East Dobbins Landing.
The project was first proposed several years ago, but the poor economy put it on hold. But in recent months, the authority has met with 5 potential developers who have expressed interest in the plan for condominiums, retail and office space and indoor parking.
The project would be built on authority owned property. Some tenants would have to be re-located.
A detailed proposal package is now being put together. The authority may choose a developer, depending on the responses it receives.
