Volunteers are now searching a large area of Erie's lower east side looking for a missing teenager.
As we have been reporting, 17 year old Jacob Samusenko was last seen 2 weeks ago.
About 150 people gathered at 10 a.m. at the foot of Parade Street. Organizers made sure everyone had a flyer of Jacob with his picture, and a map of the area divided into 6 zones.
Then groups of volunteers fanned out to search city streets. Others combed brushy and wooded areas along railroad tracks and the Bayfront Parkway looking for any sign of the teenager.
The search is expected to continue until 2 p.m.
