A murder suspect is sitting behind bars, a day after Erie police re-file murder charges against him in a deadly shooting last Summer.
Prosecutors say 29 year old Michael James shot and killed 25 year old Teverous Williams last July at 19th and Ash streets in Erie.
Last October, a judge dropped the charges after a key witness failed to show up and testify against him.
Prosecutors are now re-instating the murder charge against James, they issued a warrant for his arrest on Monday.
Police picked him up on Tuesday, though police aren't releasing details of his arrest just yet.
James is behind bars at the Erie county prison.
