The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office has a new ride. Sheriff Steve Levorchick says deputies recently seized a 1985 corvette during a traffic stop and discovered drugs inside.
The driver forfeited his ride as part of a plea deal.
A body shop near Genoa is donating all of the prep work and painting the Corvette to make it look like a sheriff's cruiser.
The car will also feature lettering to say a drug dealer donated the corvette.
The sheriff's office plans to use the new ride in parades and for educational purposes.
