Dunkirk NY Man Arrested in a String of Residential Robberies

     Police in Dunkirk, NY have a suspect behind bars, allegedly linked to a string of daytime residential burglaries.  35 year old Gualberto Gonzalez, of Dunkirk, was apprehended Wednesday after reports of a house burglary on Dove Street.  Police spotted Gonzalez in the area of the robbery, but he ran away.  Police later apprehended him as he tried to get into his second floor apartment.  Police say they found evidence outside and inside his apartment, linking Gonzalez to several burglaries already under investigation.  Police say Gonzalez confessed to two burglaries.  The one on Dove Street, and another on West Fourth Street.  Gonzalez is being held without bond while the investigation continues.
