Two houses catch fire near Buckingham and North Hawley

Toledo fire crews responded to reports of two homes on fire near Buckingham Street and North Hawley around 7:30 Friday night.

Investigators are still trying to figure out how the fires started.

Firefighters tell 13abc of the homes was the site of an arson earlier this week. The fires destroyed both of the houses, and the city plans to tear them down.

Crews were able to keep the flames from spreading to a third residence.
